Location                    

Both races will start and finish at the Northwest Terrace of Sugar House Park (2100 South 1300 East)

Event Parking

All participants will be able to park in Sugar House Park. 

Gift Bags    

All pre-registered participants will receive an official race shirt and gift bag.    

Seeded Runners

Participants in the 2008 1-800 CONTACTS 5k/10k Challenge will line up at the start according to their projected overall 5k and 10k finish times. Each participant will provide race management with his/her projected finish time.

Awards and Prizes

Medals will be awarded in the following age groups: under 15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.

Registration and Packet Pick-up

You will be able to pick up your shirt, bib, and gift bag the morning of the race at Sugar House Park.

Day of Race Registration:  6:30 a.m. to 7:15 a.m.

Official Utah 5k/10k Road Race

The 1-800 CONTACTS Challenge will be certified by the USA Track and Field Association - Utah Chapter.

Post Race Activities

Once competitors have finished the 2008 1-800 CONTACTS 5k/10k Challenge, they will enjoy the activities located at the Northwest Terrace of Sugar House Park. The post-race celebration will offer entertainment, food booths, refreshments, massage therapists , music, and other activities provided to you by all of our 2008 sponsors.
